Membership Spotlight July 2021: Claire MacLean

As CEO Claire is responsible for managing the overall operations at SHARE Society and 43 Housing Society. Together the societies serve over 22,000 people each year through a broad range of social services, including affordable housing, support to children with special needs, seniors supports, counselling & substance use services, mental health support and food bank services to the Tri-Cities communities. Claire has a background in speech language pathology, management and public service and a unique skill set and expertise working with different levels of government and service provider organizations. In this CREW Member Spotlight feature, Claire provides us with insight into how she got involved with CREW, her wealth of industry experience and tips and advice she has learnt.

Membership Spotlight June 2021: Cynthia Lim

Cynthia Lim is Chief Operations Officer and Partner at PCI Developments, who has recently transitioned from a long standing role as Chief Financial Officer and Partner as she phases into part-time status after her tenure with the Company beginning in 1988. She’s been an integral part of the Executive Team in growing the company to one of Metro Vancouver’s most reputable real estate developers and investors, specializing particularly in large scale, complex mixed-use projects. Its sister company, Warrington PCI Management, has grown to be the largest commercial Property Manager in B.C.



Mentorship Highlight May 2021: Beth Berry & Megan Hymanyk

The CREW Vancouver Mentorship Program (VMP) is designed to support and encourage an exchange of ideas, experiences, and friendships among commercial real estate professionals in our local network. We match CREW Vancouver members (mentees) with experienced professionals with 10+ years in the industry. Our goal is to develop meaningful relationships between mentors and mentees that will last beyond the timeline of the program. No one can better inform you of the unique features and benefits of the VMP than current mentors and mentees. That’s why we asked mentee Megan Hymanyk (Sales and Marketing Coordinator at PC Urban) and mentor Beth Berry (VP Industrial Development at Beedie) to provide our members with the inside scoop.



Membership Spotlight May 2021: Lisa MacIntosh

Lisa MacIntosh is an Interior Construction Consultant in her 5th year at DIRTT. While Lisa’s early career spanned the healthcare sector, after 13 years she decided to follow her passion for interiors. Lisa transitioned to Interior Design in 2004 and went on to build a successful 10-year career. In 2016 Lisa was encouraged by a mentor to consider DIRTT due to her fascination with the balance of innovation, function and beauty. For the past 5 years Lisa has been drawing from those principles to help her clients realize their dream projects by building smarter. Lisa is an Executive Board Member for the Association for Learning Environments (A4LE), a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the spaces where children come together to learn.
